This totem is composed of clay, wire, and felt. It represents how anxiety affects my body and myself in a more physical way. The wire hand signifies how I am used to fidgeting with my hands when I'm anxious and also serves as a base. The hand is holding eyes created from felt, I chose felt because I wanted to attempt a different method and add a new texture to the piece. They illustrate what causes my anxiety, which is when there is a lot of attention on me. Lastly, I added the clay lungs. They stand out the most because of the bright colors and realistic appearance. The lungs signify how my anxiety attacks my lungs and makes it hard to breathe.
